Can You Guess How Much Worse CO2 Emissions will become by 2050?

By 2050 global CO2 emissions will become so thick that many predict we’ll see anti-CO2 demonstrators take to the streets. Some of the world’s anti-pollution groups have already reached that stage and national governments are increasingly proposing regulations like the EPA did last June.  Even China is getting concerned about CO2 emission and pollution, and has tentatively agreed to emissions control (we’ll see if that holds).

But one thing is clear, CO2 emissions is on track to skyrocket if they aren't mitigated.

A recent survey by Ener-Core and Evolve (my company) demonstrates that most companies are doing something about it, but others are either not required to mitigate emissions or are doing nothing about it.

Here’s a sample of the data obtained by surveying over 600 people in the industry. Download the rest of the report to see the latest data on techniques and strategies they are using.

Yet, environmental compliance costs money. Managing the myriad environmental requirements along with operating emissions control equipment is the cost of doing business in Europe and the United States. While these costs will certainly be passed down to the consumer, the overall impact of environmental regulations will also significantly impact the competitive global landscape.

It will be interesting to watch how this all plays out in the near future. Regulation, business, the environment – it’s all in play.

By 2050 most cars will be replaced by electric driverless cars which will massively reduce C02.
